This is an important lesson that a cook in the restaurant Flames learned when he was stabbed by a colleague on Saturday. Police investigators said the incident occurred in a restaurant when cooking Mattapan stabbed the victim.
According to the victim, whose identity remained undisclosed, the stabbing incident occurred after a heated argument between them. The suspect, who also is a chef, took a Kitchen Knife and charged right at the victim. The stomach area was the target. The victim tried to escape but what was happening. He suffered abdominal injuries and was taken immediately to Boston Medical Center who was the nearest hospital. The patient was treated quickly, injuries were not fatal. The researchers also said there were bloodstains on the clothing of the victim.
The suspect was identified as Wellesley Clarke. He is 55 years old and originally from Boston. He was placed under arrest a few moments after the incident. Clarke will now face charges of assault and battery with a knife. Police investigators also seized the knife used in the stabbing incident and will be used as evidence.
