Help! Aquarium Hot!?
I'm from Argentina …. I have a 35 gallon aquarium … http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd64/markjdb/06032008078.jpg fully planted with 6 Corydoras albino and a small knife, black ghost 2 inches …. I looked today and the water was 32 degrees Celsius … and I think we can be even hotter in a worst case … – Will kill plants and fish? – Should I follow a red crayfish in place? my 40 watts of fluorescent light was not yet even when I entered the temperature … – I can use it to cool without spending tons of ice? – Are the force of the stream / blowing bubbles harmful to plants and fish? I mean the movement of water is bad for plants and my fish?
Do not worry about the temperature. You live in a tropical country and water, and as the atmospheric temperature is naturally high, especially now that it's summer. High temperatures can not kill plants and fish. Fish and plants are not as sensitive as you might think. You can adjust to high temperatures if it is not permanent and are exposed to it gradually. crayfish are a no no in a planted tank, as they like to cut the plants until only your heels. Water movement is not bad for fish and plants per se. But a movement too fast makes dioxide carbon to leave the aquarium that is bad for the plants, and may cause fish to bounce around the tank.
